Overview

Snippets summarizes your recent activity across Gmail, Calendar, Keep, Photos, and Drive metadata. All processing occurs locally in Chrome; Snippets does not send your data to any external server.

Data Collected

How Data Is Used

Data is used solely to generate a concise, on-device activity summary displayed in Chrome’s side panel. When available, Chrome’s built-in AI may assist summarization; otherwise a deterministic local summarizer is used.

Storage & Retention

Settings and optional summary edits are stored locally via chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session. You can delete all local data and sign out at any time from the extension’s options.

Snippets does not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party.

Security

OAuth tokens are handled by Chrome’s identity APIs. Processing and storage are local to your browser.
